Zefan
Zefan, also a graduate of Batam Bible College, is our newest evangelist. He is married to Serlina and has two children.
Linga Halawa
Linga Halawa has been with Jochebed’s Hope for many years. He assists with Bible studies for the students and works as an evangelist in the Gido area. He is also a graduate of Batam Bible College. Halawa and his wife, Mawarni, live on the children’s home campus.
Yoeli
Yoeli and two of his sons are graduates of Batam Bible College. Yoeli and his wife, Sarina Nazara, have five grown children, three of whom are married. Yoeli also farms vanilla beans!
Fatarombowo Buulolo
Fatarambowo has worked as an evangelist on Nias for many years. He and his wife, Salinaria, have eight children. Fatarambowo is a graduate of Batam Bible College.

Faatulo Telaumbanua
Faatulo has worked as an evangelist on Nias for many years. He and his wife, Ru’Ida, have seven daughters and one son. Faatulo is a graduate of Batam Bible College.

Arman
Arman serves as a dormitory supervisor and an evangelist in the Gunungsitoli area. He leads Bible studies with the dormitory students, as well as the children’s home students, in addition to helping with church leadership and serving the community. Arman graduated from the Bible school on the island of Sulawesi. He and his wife, Elvin, have one son
Jhonni
Jhonni started with Jochebed’s Hope as a dormitory supervisor, but as a graduate of Batam Bible College, he was interested in working as an evangelist. When we were able to fill the dorm supervisor position, Jhonni and his wife, Terimahati, and their three young children, moved back to the village. They now serve the congregations all around that area.
Daniel Setiabudi
Daniel serves as a regional supervisor for the staff on Nias. He helps with communication and staff development, assisting us with navigating cultural norms as we train leaders with an emphasis on the attributes of Christ-like leadership.
Mardianus Hulu
Mardianus is responsible for all of the children living on the children’s home campus. He takes care of all things related to their care, including transportation to school or other activities, grocery shopping, and medical care, if needed. Mardianus and his wife, Kariani, do not have any biological children, but they joined Jochebed’s Hope with a strong desire to love and care for the kids there, teach them about Jesus, and lead them in the ways of doing what is right and good.
Suma Gulo
Suma is the youngest of eight children, and a Jochebed’s Hope alumnus, having graduated from high school while living in one of the dormitories. Suma has completed a Master’s degree in English from the University of Jakarta. Suma and his wife, Rika, have one son.
