About Key Personnel
This work would not be possible without the financial contributions of many across the country and in other parts of the world. The involvement of many caring individuals is truly the key to making this work a reality.

Steve Cate

Steve received his Bachelor’s Degree from Abilene Christian University, Abilene, Texas, and a Master's Degree from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri.

While working in Indonesia from 1968 through 1976, starting churches in North Sumatra and Nias, and helping continue the work in Jakarta, Steve and his family fell in love with the people, culture, cuisine, music, and natural beauty of the country.

After his return from Indonesia in 1976, Steve continued to serve congregations in Iowa. Nebraska, and California. Upon his retirement from pulpit ministry, he returned to working with the people of Indonesia in 2002. Steve and his wife, Jean, reside in Fremont, Nebraska. With his range of experience and knowledge of how things work in Indonesia, Steve’s primary role is the satisfaction of all regulatory and compliance issues Stateside and abroad.
